Lamar State College Orange is seeking a qualified candidate to lead our Health, Workforce, and Technical programs in the position of Dean of Health, Workforce, and Techincal Programs.
The primary responsibilities for this position include divisional leadership, professional development, faculty evaluations, and student relations. The Dean oversees programs in the fields of nursing/health services, vocational, workforce, and leisure learning.
This position answers directly to the Lamar State College Orange Executive Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs (EVP).
The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in education or another field with at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in a vocational/technical teaching discipline. A Doctorate in a teaching discipline or educational leadership is preferred.
Additionally, all candidates must possess three to five years Administrative/Management experience in higher education. Three years of community college teaching experiene is preferred.
