Elizabethtown College (Pennsylvania) seeks an experienced, energetic, and resourceful leader to serve as Dean of the School of Business. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with faculty and institutional leaders to set a strategic direction for the School, enhance the visibility and reputation of existing business programs, and develop new programs that are responsive to the needs of today's students and employers. Current programs include accounting, business administration, economics, international business, marketing, and finance.
Foster a highly functioning team within the unit and collaborate with other units on campus to look for interdisciplinary education opportunities;
Seek opportunities to work along with the institution's School for Continuing and Professional Studies to build connections for adult, graduate, and online education;
Lead and contribute to fundraising development efforts, secure corporate partnerships, and cultivate donors to advance the initiatives of the School;
Manage the budget and supervises faculty and staff housed within the School in accordance with Elizabethtown College policies and applicable law;
Depending upon the needs and priorities of the School, the Dean may teach a course within the School.
Terminal degree in a field represented in the School (preferred from an ACBSP or AACSB accredited program)
Candidates with a master's degree coupled with strong professional experience may also be considered.
