Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Program Manager supports the Office of the Dean in an efficient and effective manner in a myriad of functions and activities. Provides a high level of support to the Office of the Dean and senior management. This position supports the Senior Associate Dean in a myriad of functions from the TTK and PTK merit view process; managing faculty processes; faculty payroll related responsibilities; maintaining list servs and campus tracking systems; managing all administrative processes at the direction of the Senior Associate Dean.
Bachelor’s degree required. Three – five plus years of experience. Significant customer/student relationship management experience.
It is vital for this individual to be a strong team player while being able to act as the reflection of the Deans Office. Develops constructive and collaborative working relationships with others and maintains them over time. Displays high levels of initiative; must be a highly motivated self-starter who takes direction well but can also work independently.
Excellent ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including but not limited to university officials, staff, faculty, students, alumni, community leaders, and vendors.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Possesses excellent time management skills.
Demonstrates strong office management and planning and organizing skills. Shows strong attention to detail. Displays a strong work ethic (conscientious and dependable). Ability to consistently deliver high quality work within quick turnaround times. Excellent multi-tasking skills; can effectively handle multiple issues at the same time.
